The 'story': example translation

Remember that your translation might not be exactly the same as this one.

In the kitchen is a man. The man is a slave. The man is the cook. The cook is cooking. The cook is cooking dinner.

A slave-girl* is also in the kitchen. The slave-girl is helping the cook.

The cook is cooking a fish. The slave-girl is preparing a bird. The slave-girl cuts the bird. Blood flows.

The cook likes the slave-girl.

The slave-girl likes the cook.

* A female slave, and nothing more.
